Chaparosa is a place where thoughtful riding and horse welfare matter. These rider biomechanics sessions are designed to support that standard by focusing on how the rider’s body influences the horse’s movement, comfort, and understanding of the aids.
This work is not discipline-specific and does not replace regular instruction. Instead, it complements the training already happening at Chaparosa by helping riders improve alignment, balance, body awareness, and clarity—so the horse can move more freely and respond more easily.

Session days and times vary and are scheduled thoughtfully to fit the normal rhythm of the barn. Availability is shared in advance, and scheduling is coordinated to ensure a calm, horse-first environment.
Kasey Reeder specializes in rider biomechanics and body awareness, helping riders understand how their posture, movement, and balance influence their horses. Her work focuses on improving communication, supporting horse welfare, and developing riders who can move with clarity and intention across disciplines.
