Hello!

Thank you for your interest in my clinics. My name is Kasey Reeder, and I specialize in helping riders unlock their full potential by focusing on their biomechanics, body awareness, and overall communication with their horse. My approach, Riderology™, puts the rider at the center of the partnership, helping them move in balance, ride with purpose, and connect more effectively with their horse. Through tailored exercises, both on and off the horse, I teach riders how to improve their alignment, refine their aids, and create harmony in every stride. Ultimately, I help riders become better partners for their horses, which leads to happier, healthier horses and stronger partnerships.

Improve the Rider, Improve the Horse

Performance in Partnership

This unique, one-day immersive clinic is designed to help riders understand how their own bodies directly influence their horse’s movement, balance, and emotional state.

Through individualized rider biomechanics assessments, guided body awareness sessions, horse tension and movement evaluations, and thoughtfully structured mounted work, participants experience how subtle changes in posture, breath, and organization create meaningful shifts in the horse.

What You'll Learn

This clinic is designed to help riders understand why things feel the way they do—and how small, intentional changes can create meaningful shifts in both rider and horse.

Participants will learn how to work with their horse as a true partnership, rather than trying to “fix” one side of the equation.

Rider Awareness & Biomechanics

Participants will learn to:

  • Identify their personal movement patterns, asymmetries, and postural habits

  • Understand how pelvis, hips, spine, and breath affect balance and communication

  • Recognize how subtle tension or restriction in the rider shows up in the horse

  • Apply simple, effective micro-resets they can use immediately—in the saddle and on the ground

Understanding the Horse’s Body & Responses

Participants will learn to:

  • Read common tension patterns in the horse’s body

  • Understand how horses respond to rider imbalance, restriction, or inconsistency

  • Notice changes in the horse’s way of going when the rider becomes more organized

  • See the horse not as resistant or crooked—but as honest feedback

The Partnership Lens

Participants will explore:

  • How horse and rider function as a single system, not two separate parts

  • Why effort and stronger aids often block progress

  • How curiosity replaces judgment as a powerful training tool

  • How clarity in the rider creates confidence and relaxation in the horse

Applied Learning—Mounted & Unmounted

Through guided sessions, riders will:

  • Experience how off-horse alignment and awareness directly improve mounted work

  • Learn how to carry new organization into walk, trot, canter, transitions, and obstacles

  • Feel the difference between “doing more” and allowing better movement

  • Develop skills they can take home and apply to any horse they ride

Personalized Takeaways

Each participant leaves with:

  • Their key rider focus (what matters most for their body)

  • Their most effective personal reset

  • Insight into their horse’s primary tension pattern

  • A clear, customized next-steps plan

  • A partnership intention they can return to in daily training

In short:

Participants don’t just learn concepts—they learn how to feel, interpret, and respond differently so both horse and rider can move with more ease, clarity, and trust.

Is this clinic for me?

This clinic is for riders of any discipline or level who feel stuck, crooked, or inconsistent despite trying harder—and who sense that the missing piece may be them, not their horse. If you want clearer communication without stronger aids, are curious about how your balance, alignment, and tension influence your horse, and value a thoughtful, horse-centered approach, you’ll feel right at home. This experience is ideal for riders who want to understand the why behind what they feel, replace frustration with clarity, and build a more relaxed, responsive partnership with their horse.

Don't Miss This Unique Opportunity:

Opportunities like this don’t come along often. It’s rare to step into a learning environment where the focus isn’t on doing more, riding harder, or fixing the horse—but on understanding the partnership as a whole. If you’ve been searching for clarity, ease, and a deeper sense of connection with your horse, this clinic offers a chance to slow down, listen, and make changes that truly last. If something in you feels curious—or quietly says this might be what I need—trust that. Don’t miss the chance to experience what becomes possible when you and your horse are supported together.

Improving the Rider to Improve the Horse

The Balanced Rider Workshop

Unlock Your Full Potential Off the Horse

Join us for an immersive summer workshop (in the shade!) designed to transform your posture, core strength, and overall performance as a rider—without ever stepping into the saddle. The Balanced Rider workshop focuses on building the foundation of stability, mobility, and body awareness that every rider needs to enhance their riding experience both on and off the horse.

Why Attend?

Riding requires a combination of strength, flexibility, and coordination. Yet, many riders spend so much time in the saddle that they forget to develop the physical foundation needed for optimal performance. The Balanced Rider workshop targets the core elements of biomechanics, posture, and movement efficiency that directly impact your riding. We’ll show you how to enhance these elements in ways that improve your connection with the horse, prevent injury, and increase your riding comfort.

Whether you are a beginner looking to improve your posture or an experienced rider aiming for better balance, this workshop is for you. You’ll leave with a set of practical tools and exercises that will help you improve your riding and your body awareness both in the saddle and throughout your daily life.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Core Strength and Posture: Develop the deep core muscles needed to support a strong, independent seat, helping you maintain balance and stability in the saddle.

  • Flexibility and Mobility: Improve the flexibility and mobility of key areas such as your hips, hamstrings, spine, and shoulders, allowing for better alignment and more fluid movement.

  • Dynamic Posture: Understand how dynamic posture works in conjunction with stability, and how to maintain proper alignment during functional movements like walking, bending, and lifting.

  • Stability and Proprioception: Build better balance and coordination through targeted exercises that enhance your awareness of body position and movement, both on and off the horse.
