Hello!

Thank you for your interest in my clinics. My name is Kasey Reeder, and I specialize in helping riders unlock their full potential by focusing on their biomechanics, body awareness, and overall communication with their horse. My approach, Riderology™, puts the rider at the center of the partnership, helping them move in balance, ride with purpose, and connect more effectively with their horse. Through tailored exercises, both on and off the horse, I teach riders how to improve their alignment, refine their aids, and create harmony in every stride. Ultimately, I help riders become better partners for their horses, which leads to happier, healthier horses and stronger partnerships.

Better Riders, Better Horses

The Rider's Mechanic™ Clinic

This clinic is dedicated to helping riders understand how their body influences their horse’s performance, behavior, and willingness. By focusing on the biomechanics of riding, participants will explore how subtle adjustments in alignment, posture, and aids can create a profound impact on their horse’s movement and mindset. This is an opportunity to refine your skills and unlock new possibilities for harmony and performance with your horse.

What You'll Learn

  • The Rider’s Alignment:
Understand how your position directly affects your horse’s balance, rhythm, and ability to engage. You’ll learn how to align your body to support your horse’s movement, creating a stable and effective connection.
  • Clearer Communication:
Explore techniques to make your aids precise, purposeful, and easy for your horse to understand. This clarity helps reduce confusion and enhances the trust between horse and rider.
  • Empowering the Horse:
Learn how to use your balance and movement to encourage your horse’s natural rhythm, suppleness, and energy. Unlock your horse’s potential by promoting relaxation, flow, and willingness.
  • Practical Exercises:
Practice step-by-step drills to address specific “horse issues” by refining your own movements in the saddle. These exercises are designed to improve both the rider’s influence and the horse’s response.

Who Should Attend?

This clinic is perfect for riders of all levels who are seeking to improve their horse’s performance and strengthen their partnership. Whether you’re addressing specific challenges or simply looking to refine your riding, this session will provide valuable insights and practical takeaways.

Better Riders, Better Horses

The Balanced Rider Workshop

Unlock Your Full Potential Off the Horse

Join us for an immersive summer workshop (in the shade!) designed to transform your posture, core strength, and overall performance as a rider—without ever stepping into the saddle. The Balanced Rider workshop focuses on building the foundation of stability, mobility, and body awareness that every rider needs to enhance their riding experience both on and off the horse.

Why Attend?

Riding requires a combination of strength, flexibility, and coordination. Yet, many riders spend so much time in the saddle that they forget to develop the physical foundation needed for optimal performance. The Balanced Rider workshop targets the core elements of biomechanics, posture, and movement efficiency that directly impact your riding. We’ll show you how to enhance these elements in ways that improve your connection with the horse, prevent injury, and increase your riding comfort.

Whether you are a beginner looking to improve your posture or an experienced rider aiming for better balance, this workshop is for you. You’ll leave with a set of practical tools and exercises that will help you improve your riding and your body awareness both in the saddle and throughout your daily life.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Core Strength and Posture: Develop the deep core muscles needed to support a strong, independent seat, helping you maintain balance and stability in the saddle.

  • Flexibility and Mobility: Improve the flexibility and mobility of key areas such as your hips, hamstrings, spine, and shoulders, allowing for better alignment and more fluid movement.

  • Dynamic Posture: Understand how dynamic posture works in conjunction with stability, and how to maintain proper alignment during functional movements like walking, bending, and lifting.

  • Stability and Proprioception: Build better balance and coordination through targeted exercises that enhance your awareness of body position and movement, both on and off the horse.

  • Daily Habits and Posture: Learn how to integrate proper posture into your daily life—whether sitting, standing, or moving—to maintain the benefits of this workshop every day.
